all about our gig at the Bookbinders Arms, Jericho, Oxford
Saturday 1st Dec 2012
The debut gig for our new drummer - Mark Doffman.
Thrown in at the deep end with virtually no rehearsal
the recording below is the opening number from our set.
Sadly, my trusty mini-disc recorder which has
functioned so well since about 1993
gave up the ghost after one song!

of a great night's music.

Okay - so the sound quality isn't up to much - but you get some idea of what you missed...
(unless you were there, of course) ...turn up the volume.

and here's a quote from our book of the month to give you sustenance:

"On our way home through Treptow Park, Walter Heyman quoted Erich Kastner: 'A slap like that in a cheerful face sounds pretty loud to the one on the receiving end. However, such slaps are not fatal. Man is built to withstand them'.".
"The Forger" - Cioma Schonhaus (2007)
